I live and work on the island of Öland, where my practice is rooted in both design and ceramics.
After studying Fine Art at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, I moved into the world of design. In 2023, I established my own studio, guided by the principles and experiences I had gathered over the years. In 2024, I began studying pottery at Capellagården, deepening my connection to materials and craft.
My work is grounded in simplicity and function. I’m drawn to the quiet beauty of handmade objects—their texture, weight, and imperfections. In a world where so much of your time is spent on a digital screen, I believe in the importance of tactile experiences and the unique presence that ceramics can bring into our lives.
I produce wheel-thrown functional ware for everyday use, as well as large-scale sculptural works made from both cast and wheel-thrown elements. Each piece reflects a balance between geometric forms and the serene, meditative atmosphere of the sculptures.
Alongside my own collections, I also take on commissioned projects and collaborations.
At the heart of my practice is a commitment to timeless design and meaningful relationships—between people, objects, and the spaces they inhabit.
In addition to my studio practice, I teach pottery classes during the summer at Urban Artists, a Stockholm studio dedicated to creative learning and community.
